In Masuho, which prospered through the Fujikawa River's water transport industry, our brewery has been brewing delicious sake for 230 years, using water from the local spring and rice grown in the area with a passion of bringing out the umami flavor of rice in our sake.

Although I'm the chief brewer, I don't blueprint everything.
I cherish the natural flavor that rice has and the locally sourced fine water we use. What I strive to do is to “nurture” sake like giving it an encouraging push in order to bring out the best of those ingredients.
We aim for “Shunnouten” to be sake that makes you the star of the show and accompanies your happiness. Specifically, our sake is crisp and light, and it has a taste that you never get tired of. It’s on the dry side and you can feel the umami flavor of sake rice.
